Old Cross Mountain RVV
Description
The Oude Kruisens or Oude Kruisberg(popularly known as the“Ouwe Kruisies“) is a slope on the south side of the Kruisberg in the Belgian town of Ronse in the Flemish Ardennes. It has been in the final of the cycling classic Tour of Flanders since 2014.
The Oude Kruisens or Oude Kruisberg has been included in the Tour of Flanders 19 times (1973-1976, 1991, 1992, 2011, 2014-2025). The slope lies parallel to the Kruisstraat. In the race book, it is often referred to as Kruisberg (Oudestraat). In 2023, Oude Kruisens or Oude Kruisberg was the slope on which one of the top favorites, Wout van Aert, had to drop out after a surprising attack by Mathieu van der Poel that was answered by later winner Tadej Pogačar.
