Description

The Eyserbosweg is a street near the Dutch village of Eys (province of Limburg). The sloping street runs northwest of the village in a northeasterly direction, towards the plateau where the lesser Eyserweg also ends. On this street is the Eyserbos (hence the name) and the television tower (radio and television mast) of Eys, the Zendmast Eys.

In cycling, it is one of the most difficult climbs in South Limburg. It is 1020 meters long and is 90 meters high. The slope has an average climbing rate of 8.8%, with a maximum climbing rate of 16.2%.

This hill has been included several times in the Amstel Gold Race and the Tour of the Netherlands. In the 2002 Amstel Gold Race, Michael Boogerd began his advance on this hill. This would have been at the height of a bench next to the road.

In 2014, the road was part of the 7th stage of the Eneco Tour. Source Wikipedia
