Passo dell’ Aprica – Edolo
Description
The Apricapas (Italian: Passo dell’Aprica) is an 1176-meter-high mountain pass in Italy that connects Teglio in the Valtellina and Edolo in the Val Camonica. At the top of the pass is the village of Aprica, which is an important winter sports resort in winter.
The pass height can be reached from both sides via a well-built, not too steep road. On the west side one has a view of the broad Valtellina while climbing.
Just east of the summit, a small road branches off to the north and leads through the hamlet of Trivigno to the Mortirolopas, popular with cyclists. This road zigzags over the ridge of which Monte Cadi (2449 meters) is the highest point. Source Wikipedia
